SAL Soccer will not discriminate or in any way, treat anyone less favourably on grounds of age, gender, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, marital status, race, nationality, ethnic origin, colour, religion or belief, and ability or disability. We will ensure that it treats people fairly and with respect and it will provide access and opportunities to all players and club officials or anyone associated with the club in order they can to take part in and enjoy its activities. (Playing or watching).
SAL Soccer will not tolerate harassment, bullying, abuse (physical or mental), or victimisation of an individual, which for the purposes of this policy is regarded as discrimination. This includes sexual or racially based behaviour harassment or other discriminatory behaviour whether physical or verbal. We will work to ensure that such behaviour is met with appropriate action in whatever context it occurs.
SAL Soccer commits itself to launching an immediate investigation when claims of discrimination are brought to its attention. This includes any discriminatory behaviour on the above grounds and where such behaviour is found to be the case a requirement that the practice will stop shall be made. Additionally SAL Soccer will, on receipt of the facts, consider the incident and shall reserve the right to impose any sanction it deems appropriate against the offender(s).
